Law enforcement officials identified the four victims killed at Apalachee High School on Wednesday as students Mason Schermerhorn and Christian Angelo, and teachers Richard Aspinwall and Christina Irimie.

Officials have stated that the alleged shooter, 14-year-old Colt Gray, used an “AR-platform” style weapon

Witnesses described gunfire breaking out after Gray slipped out of algebra class and was denied re-entry after returning carrying the weapon.

The suspect and his family had been interviewed in 2023 about the then-13-year-old making online terrorist threats, which Gray denied.

The community held a vigil on Wednesday night to honor the victims and come together in mourning.
