Article Icon 1Dental School Takes Shape

Six months after breaking ground, crews raised the steel framework for the Dental College of Georgia campus in Savannah, the second campus of the state’s only dental school.

The $178 million state-funded project will train 50 dental students and 20 hygienist students per class and is set to open in 2028.

Georgia ranks 46th in dental providers per capita, and about 18 counties have no practicing dentist, according to Augusta University.

Augusta University President Russell Keen said the need is rising as the state’s population grows and more dentists near retirement. SGA Dental Partners’ $2.5 million gift will help fund equipment and faculty recruitment.

Article Icon 1 Trump and Vance Blast Anthem Walkouts

President Trump on Thursday night called for a possible WNBA boycott in response to national anthem walkouts by Atlanta Dream and Golden State Valkyries players. Vice President JD Vance termed the teams’ actions “disgraceful.”

The teams and the WNBA continue to decline to comment, and many media outlets are not reporting on the story. Former ESPN anchor Linda Cohn called for the league to publicly address the anthem walkouts.

On Tuesday night, NBA player LeBron James drew criticism for appearing to practice his golf swing and jump shot while the anthem played at a game in New York. James did not respond immediately. Trump called James “a total disgrace.”

Meanwhile, a former NBA player who opposes allowing men to play in women’s sports said he was blocked from going to his seat at the WNBA Finals in Atlanta on Wednesday. Enes Kanter Freedom said he was removed from the arena after declining an offer to sit in a private suite, which arena officials said was arranged in response to his security concerns.

Article Icon 1Restaurants Earn Michelin Stars

So. Fox in Atlanta and Uberto in Gay earned new stars in the 2026 Michelin Guide to the American South, released Wednesday.

Summerland in Atlanta and Tipsy Thaiger in Roswell received Bib Gourmand distinctions for good value, while eight metro Atlanta restaurants kept their stars.

Uberto chef Ryan Smith was recognized through Michelin’s Mindful Voices initiative. The fine-dining restaurant is located at the Quercus resort in Meriwether County, about an hour south of Atlanta.

Earlier this year, So. Fox made The New York Times’ list of America’s 50 best restaurants for 2026 for its sweet corn dumplings and other fare.

Robots Are Seeing Like Humans Now

As we’re seeing (literally!) in the $1T fast-food industry, the gap between humans and robots keeps narrowing every day.

Thanks to a unique NVIDIA collaboration, Miso Robotics just announced cutting-edge 3D-vision for its famous Flippy fry station restaurant robots. And until midnight PT, investors can help.

With this upgrade, Flippy is taking its current 2D-vision to the next level, unlocking key advances in safety, operational efficiency, and more. For Flippy users like White Castle, Carl’s Jr., NBA arenas, and college campuses, few things matter more.

Plus, Miso just closed two major asset acquisitions, including a once-SoftBank-backed robotics stalwart. In the process, it even added big-name customers like Jersey Mike’s, Cinnabon, and Auntie Anne’s, and grew its patent portfolio a whopping ~10X to over 300.

Now, Miso is targeting $1.3 million of investment as it accelerates Flippy’s shift from 2D to 3D vision. And you have until midnight PT tonight to join it and help bring Flippy’s biggest vision upgrade to market. Bonus shares are available.

Is This the NBA’s Most Consistent Player?

Sorry LeBron. The new face of consistency in NBA arenas may just be…a robot?

It’s thanks to Miso Robotics’ Flippy fry station kitchen robot. Already a fixture in the $1T fast-food market, it’s now manning NBA arena fryers.

Flippy helps boost location profits up to 4X, cooking ~100 items at speeds up to 2X faster than humans. In high-volume environments, that reliability’s like a 99% 3-point shooter. Money.

And Miso’s not done improving Flippy. A unique NVIDIA collaboration brings new 3D vision technology, unlocking real-time awareness. Combined with years of proprietary data, that’s a formidable moat.

Now, Miso’s targeting $1.3M of investment as it accelerates Flippy’s leap from 2D to 3D vision. Those who invest by midnight PT will help bring Flippy’s biggest vision upgrade to market. And bonus shares are available.
