Article Icon 1Ossoff and Collins Face Off

Democrat U.S. Sen. Jon Ossoff and Republican challenger U.S. Rep. Mike Collins outlined starkly different views on the best federal policies for Georgia in their first debate, clashing on the economy, immigration, health care, and more.

Beyond policy differences, Collins criticized Ossoff for what he described as the senator’s personal attacks on Collins’ family members and staff, saying, “That’s my family. That’s the craziness that Jon Ossoff has been spewing out there,” and noted last week’s arrest of a New York man who allegedly threatened him and his son-in-law. Collins said he condemns racism, antisemitism, and hate. Ossoff’s campaign has said the senator condemns threats of violence.

The candidates discussed the Middle East, with Ossoff calling for an end to the war with Iran and accusing Israeli forces of violating the law of armed conflict and international humanitarian law in prosecuting the war in Gaza. Collins said President Trump was within his rights to take action to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon.

A panel of Gray Media journalists from around the state questioned the candidates during the hour-long debate. You can watch the full debate here.

Hyundai Transys will invest nearly $560 million to expand its hybrid car powertrain manufacturing operations in West Point, creating 320 new jobs.

Article Icon 1Storm Threatens Weekend Plans

Hurricane Isaias is expected to bring heavy rain, gusty winds, and possible tornadoes to Georgia this weekend after it makes landfall on the northern Gulf Coast late Friday or early Saturday.

Gov. Brian Kemp issued a state of emergency in preparation for the storm. Organizers canceled the Macon Beer Fest on Saturday, and many high school football games were rescheduled from tonight.

Saturday night’s football game between No. 2 Georgia and No. 6 Alabama remained scheduled. Alabama declared a state of emergency in 40 counties, including Tuscaloosa County. President Trump, who planned to attend, said he’s unsure whether he’ll go because of the weather.

The Investment Hiding Inside Every AI Chip

Everyone knows AI is powered by chips. Almost nobody knows those chips run on tungsten.

It’s one of Earth’s hardest-to-replace metals. Yet somehow, America produces almost none. United States Tungsten is changing that.

They’re redeveloping what was once America’s largest tungsten facility, the “Tungsten Queen” in North Carolina. It holds roughly 1M tons of minerals, worth $665M+ at today’s prices.

Right on time, too. America’s biggest AI rival, China, supplies 84% of global tungsten. It’s already tightened exports. There’s no telling how long that door will stay open for American companies.

Now’s your chance to invest as United States Tungsten works to open a new door at home. Become a shareholder before midnight PT tonight to qualify for up to 23% in United States Tungsten bonus shares.

The going rate’s already up by 500% in the past year. And this is a rare chance for you to invest in a proven asset.
