  Article Icon 1 Frontier Adds Six Routes From Atlanta

Frontier Airlines launched six new routes from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, including its first-ever flight to San Pedro Sula, Honduras.

Other new destinations include St. Louis, Missouri; Columbus, Ohio; and the Florida cities of Jacksonville, Fort Myers, and West Palm Beach.

The additions bring Frontier’s total nonstop offerings from Atlanta to 52, up 40% from last year.

To celebrate, the airline is offering introductory fares as low as $49.

The Atlanta portion of the FIFA Club World Cup kicked off on Monday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium with Chelsea vs. LAFC, the first of six matches the stadium will host through July 5.

Nationally, 32 club teams are playing 63 games across 12 venues. Cincinnati, Los Angeles, Miami, and Orlando are among the other cities hosting opening-round matches.

For Atlanta, the tournament is a major warm-up ahead of the city’s hosting of select 2026 FIFA World Cup games.

With top clubs such as Manchester City and Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami competing, fans and local officials are treating the tournament as a full-scale test run for next year’s matches.
