Northeast Georgia Health System launched an online wait-time tracker for emergency rooms and urgent care centers at 16 locations.

The tool aims to help patients decide on the fastest location to visit, improving health care access and potentially saving lives.

The hospital system also recently equipped 10,000 staff members with location-tracking badges to enhance safety. Hospitals rank among the most dangerous workplaces.

The University System of Georgia held the line on in-state undergraduate tuition for the upcoming academic year, marking the seventh time in 10 years that costs were kept flat.

The decision applies only to in-state students, with out-of-state students’ tuition expected to go up 2% and international students’ tuition set to rise by 3%.

Georgia colleges are in demand, with six of the state’s schools ranked among the nation’s hardest to get into, according to a study by Niche.

Enci “Aubrey” Wu, a 14-year-old from Palmer Township, Pennsylvania, was found safe in Jasper, more than three months after she ran away.

According to authorities, Wu has been living in Jasper, a mountain town 60 miles north of Atlanta, and formed relationships there with individuals, which are still being investigated.

Wu disappeared after ongoing struggles with mental health. She was spotted multiple times in New Jersey early on, but no other leads emerged.
