HGTV Co-founder Lists $42M Estate
HGTV founder Ken Lowe and his wife, Julia, put their oceanfront Sea Island estate on the market for $42 million.
Named “Lowe Tide,” the 11,000-square-foot, five-bedroom, nine-bathroom mansion sits directly on the Atlantic Ocean at Sea Island’s East Beach.
The property features Italian marble and limestone finishes, a chef’s kitchen, a dedicated chocolate-making room, and a three-story closet.
The couple purchased the property in 2017 for $9.1 million and spent four years completely remodeling the site, with Julia Lowe leading the transformation.
Ken Lowe, who founded HGTV in 1994, said he and his wife are selling the home so they can travel more and split their time between Paris, London, and New York.
