Question: When was the last Atlantic hurricane season without a hurricane landfall in the U.S.?

Answer: 2015. A season without any hurricane landfalls isn’t unheard of, although it is fairly uncommon. In the last 25 years, excluding this one, there were seven in which no hurricanes struck the mainland U.S.: 2000, 2001, 2006, 2009, 2010, 2013, and 2015, according to the hurricane research division at NOAA.
