Article Icon 1Braves Eliminated From Postseason

The Atlanta Braves will miss the postseason for the first time since 2017.

Despite Atlanta’s dominant 10-1 victory against the Detroit Tigers on Friday, the New York Mets’ win against the Washington Nationals ended the Braves’ hopes of postseason contention.

Now, attention turns to the future of the team’s manager, Brian Snitker, whose contract expires at the end of this season.

“I have things I’m thinking about in the back of my head. There’s still a fire there…similar to last year. I’m juggling a lot of things and I’m not sure where I will end up, but I still feel like there’s some unfinished business here,” Snitker said.
