The operation was initiated following a human trafficking tip from HSI and a report from a woman who claimed to have escaped the home, alleging she was being forced into sexual acts.

The arrested individuals are accused of alleged assault, obstruction, and immigration violations.

The incident remains under investigation.

Article Icon 1Vince Dooley’s Son Considering Senate Bid

Derek Dooley, a former University of Tennessee head football coach and the 56-year-old son of iconic Georgia Bulldogs coach Vince Dooley, announced on Friday that he will decide in the coming weeks on whether or not to make a run for U.S. Senate in Georgia as a Republican in 2026.

A University of Georgia law graduate, Dooley has worked as both a lawyer and football coach, most recently with Alabama as a senior offensive analyst.

He and his family have long ties with Gov. Brian Kemp.

So far, the Republican field has declared candidates like Rep. Buddy Carter, Insurance Commissioner John King, and activist Reagan Box.

If Dooley runs, he would join other coaches-turned-politicians like Sen. Tommy Tuberville, who is now running for governor of Alabama.
