A 21-month joint drug investigation resulted in the arrest of 30 individuals in Warner Robins on Oct. 8.

Seven search warrants led to the seizure of around 24.5 pounds of suspected marijuana, 53 suspected ecstasy pills, six grams of suspected methamphetamine, two grams of crack cocaine, six firearms, and a significant amount of U.S. currency.

The arrested individuals face various charges, including drug trafficking, possession with intent to distribute, and violations of the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act.

Georgia has announced plans to withdraw its National Guard troops from Washington, D.C., by the end of November.

In September, Georgia deployed over 300 troops to the district in support of President Trump’s efforts to crackdown on crime.

The federal emergency declaration, which was issued in August, expired last month as Congress did not renew it. However, thousands of troops have remained in Washington, D.C.

The Savannah Bananas are returning to Truist Park in Atlanta from May 8-10, 2026, as part of their most extensive tour to date.

Over 3 million people are expected to attend the new Banana Ball Championship League tour, which will visit 75 stadiums across 45 states.

Two new teams will join the league in 2026: the Loco Beach Coconuts and the Indianapolis Clowns.

Those interested in attending can join a ticket lottery through the team’s website.
