Own The Flyover

Dear Georgia Flyover Readers,

Did you catch our note yesterday?

Here’s the question before us:

Should Georgians be held hostage to the media gatekeepers, and rely on the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Savannah Morning News, or Augusta Chronicle?

We don’t think so.

That’s why we started The Georgia Flyover. We think you deserve a statewide news organization that deals in fact—not bias.

Here’s another question before you: would you like to own a piece of that company? There’s no better way to help ensure Georgia has a high quality news source.

Right now, as we raise our second million dollars, investors receive 10% bonus shares. You can get them right here, right now

We’ve built the fastest-growing news brand in Georgia. But to take The Georgia Flyover to the next level—to reach millions more Georgians who are tired of being misled—we need you to stand with us. This is common-sense news for common-sense readers.

The future of news in Georgia is at stake. Will you join us today?

Over 3,500 families in metro Atlanta will have a total of $10 million in debt forgiven through a community initiative launched by the Atlanta Dream on August 28—the 62nd anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech.

The program is a collaboration between the Atlanta Dream, Cash App, and ForgiveCo aimed at alleviating financial burdens in some of the city’s most economically distressed neighborhoods.

The forgiven debts will range from $500 to $80,000 per recipient.

“We believe sports is a catalyst for social change,” stated Larry Gottesdiener, majority owner of the Atlanta Dream.

The Stone Mountain City Council voted 4-2 to remove Mayor Beverly Jones from office following an investigation into allegations that Jones violated her oath by misusing the city’s bank accounts.

The investigation revealed that in April, Jones took control of the city’s Downtown Development Authority (DDA) account at Truist Bank without council approval by removing everyone but herself from the account.

Jones has denied the allegations and claims the action was a response to a cybersecurity warning.

“There was no intention to change an account. My intention was to make sure the city was covered,” said Jones.

Article Icon 1Murder Suspect Arrested by Off-Duty Officers
