Gov. Brian Kemp signed 120 bills into law Wednesday, including a measure that could allow President Trump to recoup legal fees in his Georgia election case. Wednesday was the last day in this legislative cycle that Kemp could sign or veto bills.

Kemp also approved digital driver’s licenses, child care tax credits, and an “America First” license plate, while vetoing measures tied to street racing enforcement and county governance.

The measure related to Trump’s legal fees includes a section that makes it easier for individuals wrongfully convicted of crimes to seek compensation for time spent in prison.

Tiffany Slaton, 27, Jeffersonville, was found safe in a snowed-in cabin near Lake Edison, California, where she sought shelter more than three weeks ago while on a solo camping trip.

The cabin’s owner found her dehydrated but otherwise in good condition on Wednesday. She survived by eating wild leeks.

The cabin’s owner discovered her during a check of the property after previously impassable roads in the area were cleared of snow earlier Wednesday.

The search for Slaton began on April 20 after her family lost contact with her.
