Article Icon 1 Fort Stewart Shooter Convicted

Sgt. Quornelius Radford was convicted of attempted murder by a military judge Thursday for shooting multiple people at Fort Stewart last August.

In the incident, Radford used a personal handgun to wound four fellow soldiers and his romantic partner before being subdued.

Prosecutors argued he intentionally tried to kill those he shot at, while Radford’s defense claimed he was trying to provoke law enforcement into using deadly force against him because he was suicidal.

Radford chose to be tried by a military judge instead of a jury of soldiers, and his sentencing is set for Monday. Attempted murder carries a possible life sentence under military law.

Article Icon 1Missing Giraffes Arrive in Madison

Two giraffe calves that went missing from a Virginia zoo more than a year ago have arrived at the Georgia Safari Conservation Park in Madison.

Officials announced earlier this week that an extensive investigation had located the calves.

The calves had been at the center of an animal-cruelty case against Virginia’s Natural Bridge Zoo. A jury awarded custody of 71 animals seized from the zoo in 2024 after finding they’d been treated cruelly or didn’t receive adequate care.

In November, actress Alicia Silverstone partnered with PETA to offer a reward of up to $50,000 for information regarding the two missing giraffes.

An investigation remains ongoing.

AI Has an 80,000-Ton Lithium Problem

From AI data centers to EVs, energy storage demand is exploding, and lithium powers it all.

Now Morgan Stanley estimates the market will face an 80,000-ton shortfall this year alone. With 5X lithium demand growth expected by 2040, the deficit is just starting.

Great timing for EnergyX. Their patented tech can recover up to 3X more lithium than traditional methods in a fraction of the time.

This has earned them a $1B private valuation and investment from leaders like General Motors and POSCO. Now, they hold rights to up to 13M tons of lithium across North and South America.

Join 50K investors and buy private EnergyX shares. But don’t wait: July 16 is the final day to invest.
