Article Icon 1Wildland Firefighting Costs Top $35M

The state has spent more than $35 million fighting wildfires this year, exceeding half of the Georgia Forestry Commission’s annual budget.

The number of fires is up nearly 90% from previous years, with more than 92,400 acres burned and more than 120 homes destroyed.

The costs do not include long-term recovery efforts for affected communities.

In April, the Federal Emergency Management Agency authorized federal funds to reimburse the costs of fighting two major fires: the Pineland Road fire in Clinch and Echols counties and the Highway 82 fire in Brantley County.

Article Icon 1Community Mourns School Leader

The Butts County School District community mourned the loss of Superintendent Brent Lowe, who died of natural causes over the weekend.

Lowe, 50, who is survived by his wife and three children, joined the district in 2022 and became a trusted leader known for putting students first, district leaders said.

School board chair Kelly Strickland-King said Lowe “was a big presence with a big heart” and that his efforts on behalf of the community will endure.

Lowe previously worked in school districts in Crawford and Pulaski counties and as a teacher and coach during his 25-year career.

$DRNI Prepares for Potential Nasdaq Listing

But the real opportunity is now, before Doroni takes to the skies.

After nearly a decade of R&D, they just unveiled a full-scale showroom model of their flying car, the H1-X, to 4,000+ attendees of their Soul of the Sky event in March. It was so impressive FOX Business called it “the flying car set to revolutionize personal air travel.”

It’s already been preordered by 600+ people, good for $240M in potential revenue for Doroni. And with commercial deliveries targeted for 2028, this futuristic promise is nearly a modern-day reality. And by 2032, Doroni projects $1.4B/year in revenue. They’re scaling fast, and you don’t want to miss your chance to become an early-stage shareholder.

Now, Doroni has just officially reserved the Nasdaq ticker $DRNI. Invest in Doroni at $3.10/share before Thursday 6/18
