After initially pleading not guilty to all charges, Quornelius Radford, the Army sergeant accused of shooting and wounding five people with a personal handgun at Fort Stewart in August, is seeking to plead guilty to a reduced set of charges.

Four soldiers and a civilian worker, identified as Radford’s romantic partner, were injured in the incident

A day after the shooting, Army Secretary Dan Driscoll awarded six soldiers the Meritorious Service Medal for subduing Radford and providing aid to the victims.

A hearing is scheduled for March 31 and April 1. Sentencing will be held April 20-22, if the plea is accepted. Radford faces a potential life sentence.
