Own The Flyover
We’re Nearly There

Over the last 12 days, we’ve been sprinting toward one goal: reaching 2,000 reader-investors. Today, I want to be fully transparent—we fell short. As I write this, we’re about 147 investors away.

Falling short never feels good. And yet, I’m enormously grateful.

1,853 of you have already stepped up to become owners of The Flyover. You’ve placed your trust, your belief, and your investment behind what we’re building. Because of that support, we’ve accomplished more in the last few months than at any point in our history. This morning alone, we delivered to a record 3.7 million readers, and our revenue is up 24% month-over-month.

That’s because of you.

The Flyover is building something different: a newsroom for common-sense Americans. A home for people who stopped watching the news because they couldn’t trust it. A publication committed to honesty, fairness, and fact-first reporting.

To keep building this movement, reaching 2,000 investors truly matters.

So today, I’m being straight with you: we’re close, but we need your help. If you’ve considered investing—whether small or large—today would be the day. If The Flyover has earned your trust, we hope you’ll take that final step and become an investor.

Article Icon 1Congressman Calls For Greater ICE Presence in Atlanta

Georgia Rep. Buddy Carter has formally asked the Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and Acting U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Director Todd Lyons to deploy additional ICE resources to Atlanta, citing public safety concerns and nearly 500,000 illegal immigrants in Georgia.

“That represents a 45% increase since 2018 in the number of people in Georgia living in open defiance of the law,” Carter said in his letter. “By deploying more federal officers, DHS and ICE would provide crucial support to local and state partners. Increasing enforcement presence would help deter unlawful entry, disrupt illegal networks, and uphold the rule of law.”

Carter’s request comes amid a new report released by the Migrant Policy Institute, which states that Georgia has the sixth-highest illegal immigrant population in the nation.

Music artist Usher is suing a group of investors to recover the remaining $700,000 of a $1.7 million loan he alleges he provided to them to purchase a Buckhead property for the planned Homage ATL restaurant-lounge.

Usher, who declined to invest in the business, is seeking a minimum of $4.9 million in compensation, the lawsuit states.

The planned property on Piedmont Road was never purchased.

Usher alleges that Atlanta Attorney Alcide Honoré, a defendant in the lawsuit, said the remaining funds had been used for “other purposes.”

Producer Bryan-Michael Cox, a defendant named in the lawsuit, responded with a statement on Instagram, saying he “was not a participant in that business transaction.”

Georgia’s farm industry, which consists of over 39,000 operating farms, generated $14.6 billion in annual agricultural sales, ranking 14th in the nation and representing 2.4% of the United States’ total, according to a report by Farm Flavor.

Poultry and eggs were named the state’s most valuable agricultural products.

Tattnall County was Georgia’s highest-ranked county, with nearly $568 million in agricultural products sold.
