Will you help us do something meaningful—right here in Georgia?

Last week, we launched our 12-day push to reach 2,000 Flyover investors, and we are now only 200 away from the finish line. If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to support The Georgia Flyover, this is it.

Your investment today doesn’t just help The Flyover nationally—it directly fuels our growth in Georgia: our audience, our coverage, and our Georgia team.

Will you stand with The Georgia Flyover by investing today? We’re looking for 23 Georgia readers to step up and become investors—your investment, along with other fellow Georgians, will ensure we meet our 2,000-investor goal.

Will you be one of them?

Why Invest in The Georgia Flyover?

1. Grow the Georgia newsroom and impact.
Your investment helps us expand the Georgia team, deepen our coverage, and reach more readers across the state.

2. Keep it reader-owned.
We believe Georgians—not corporations—should shape the news they rely on.

3. Low minimum, big impact.
We’ve lowered the minimum to $500, making it easier for more Georgians to become co-owners of the journalism they trust.

4. Protect honest reporting.
Your support keeps us independent, fact-first, and focused on fair, balanced coverage for Georgia communities.

A Quick Note

When we launched The Georgia Flyover, we hoped the state would embrace a trustworthy, unbiased source of news. We didn’t expect so many of you to stand with us. But today, over 143,000 Georgians get their daily news from The Georgia Flyover.

Your investment in The Georgia Flyover will send a clear message: honest journalism still matters here.

We’re 200 investors away from 2,000 reader-owners, and Georgia’s share is just 23 reader-investors. Stepping up now could put us over the top.

Article Icon 1Record Fall Heat Forecast

Parts of Georgia are set to break daily heat records, with temperatures hitting around 80 degrees today and Friday in the Atlanta area.

Wildfire risks are growing across north and central Georgia, prompting burn warnings. A wildfire in Murray County scorched at least 60 acres before being contained.

Meteorologists said Gulf air is driving the change, but that the blast of record warmth won’t last. Scattered showers and slightly cooler temps are forecast to arrive later in the week.

Article Icon 1 Election Case Fate Uncertain

Legal experts said Georgia’s election case faces an uncertain path after a new prosecutor took control and additional charges were dropped last week.

The Fulton County judge overseeing the case set a Dec. 1 status hearing to hear from new prosecutor Peter Skandalakis of the Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council on whether he’ll move forward with the case.

Legal experts say Skandalakis could withdraw all or some of the remaining charges, slim the case down with fewer defendants and charges, or continue the previous prosecution strategy.

President Trump and others facing charges want a full dismissal, with Trump’s attorney saying, “This politically charged prosecution has to come to an end.”

Article Icon 1 Study: Libraries Provide $1B in Value

A University of Georgia analysis estimates the state’s libraries deliver a nearly 400% return on their funding.

Last year, the state’s 408 public libraries received $282.5 million in funding while delivering services, employment, and economic benefits valued at an estimated $1.06 billion, or $3.75 for every $1 spent, according to the analysis.

The report also noted the growing use of libraries’ digital tools and programs, including a 172% increase in downloadable audiobooks from 2019 through last year.

Our friends at BIOptimizers are running a massive Black Friday deal on the incredible Magnesium Breakthrough, a 7-in-1 magnesium formula with all seven different forms of magnesium. This is their biggest sale of the year, featuring the lowest prices you’ll find—and it’s available for a limited time only.

It’s designed to be easily absorbed, gentle on digestion, and comes with a 365-day money-back guarantee.
